The Innovative Research Journal of Dentistry (IRJD) is a biannual (published in June and December), open-access, and double-blind peer-reviewed journal committed to the advancement of dental and oral health sciences. IRJD provides a platform for researchers, clinicians, and academics to publish original and impactful studies in the fields of:

Our mission is to promote interdisciplinary and clinically relevant research that contributes to innovation in dental science and improves oral healthcare practices globally. IRJD welcomes national and international submissions, with a special focus on encouraging scientific contributions from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, and other underrepresented regions.

IRJD is supported by generous collaborations with Innovative Designers and friends of the dental research community, enabling us to operate without charging any article processing fees (APC). We are committed to open knowledge, academic integrity, and global accessibility.

IRJD follows a double-blind peer-review system, ensuring impartial and rigorous evaluation of submitted manuscripts by qualified reviewers.

  • IRJD uses Turnitin for plagiarism screening.

  • The similarity index must not exceed 18%.

  • Articles are published under a Creative Commons CC BY-NC license.

    • BY – Credit must be given to the author.

    • NC – Only non-commercial use is permitted.

This license enables reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format for noncommercial purposes only, and only so long as attribution is given to the creator.

  • Authors retain copyright of their work.

Open Access Policy:

IRJD provides immediate open access to all published content. We believe that freely accessible research empowers the global dental and medical community and accelerates scientific progress.

Archiving and Indexing:

  • All published articles are digitally preserved through the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS preservation networks, ensuring permanent access even if the journal ceases publication.

  • Articles are also archived in the OJS/PKP (Open Journal Systems by Public Knowledge Project) platform, which provides stable and secure hosting of scholarly content.

  • In addition, articles are maintained in the Innovative Research Journals Publication Library (IRJPL), the institutional archive of Innovative Research Journals.
