About the Journal

The Innovative Research Journal of Education (IRJED) is a biannual, open-access, and double-blind peer-reviewed journal committed to advancing educational research, theory, and practice. With a mission to promote excellence in education and project a positive image of Pakistan through quality scholarship, IRJED provides a platform for educators, researchers, and policymakers to publish original studies in areas such as pedagogy, curriculum development, educational technology, equity, leadership, and policy reform. The journal charges no publication fees (APC) and follows strict ethical standards (COPE and DORA), plagiarism checks, and transparency in AI use. All articles are published under a CC BY-NC license, ensuring free access, sharing, and long-term digital preservation via LOCKSS/CLOCKSS and OJS/PKP. Indexed in Google Scholar, Crossref, EuroPub, Index Copernicus, DRJI, and others. IRJED welcomes national and international submissions, with a special focus on contributions from Pakistan and underrepresented regions, to strengthen global educational discourse.

Authors may submit their manuscripts either through our online submission portal or by email to [email protected]. Email submissions should include the manuscript, a cover letter addressed to the Editor of IRJED, clearly stating the journal name and providing the names, affiliations, and email addresses of 2–3 potential reviewers with relevant expertise in the manuscript's subject area.
