Journal Description

The Innovative Research Journal of Engineering (IRJEN) is a biannual (published in June and December), open-access, and double-blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing knowledge across diverse fields of engineering and applied technologies. IRJEN provides a scholarly platform for engineers, researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and innovators to publish original, high-impact research that contributes to technological advancement and sustainable development.

Publication Model

IRJEN  is supported through generous collaborations with Innovative Designers and members of the research and engineering community, enabling us to operate without charging any Article Processing Charges (APC).

 

Manuscript Types Accepted

IRJEN  accepts original research articles, review articles, short communications, technical notes, engineering application case studies, and conference proceedings.

 

Article Publication Charges (APC)

IRJEN  have no APC and is fully funded through collaborations and sponsorships, ensuring free access and free  

 

Revenue Sources

The journal is supported through collaborative support from Innovative Designers, as well as donations and personal contributions.

 

Peer Review Policy

IRJEN  follows a double-blind peer-review system, ensuring impartial and rigorous evaluation of manuscripts by qualified experts in relevant engineering disciplines.

 

Ethical Standards

IRJEN  adheres to international ethical guidelines and best practices, including COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and DORA (Declaration on Research Assessment). Detailed submission and publication ethics policies are available in the Author Guidelines.

 

Plagiarism and AI Content Policy

All submissions are screened for plagiarism using Turnitin, and the similarity index must not exceed 18%. AI-generated content must be clearly disclosed and used responsibly in accordance with COPE guidance.

 

Licensing and Copyright

All articles are published under a Creative Commons CC BY-NC license. Under this license, proper credit must be given to the author(s), and only non-commercial use is permitted. The license allows sharing, adaptation, and reuse of content for non-commercial purposes with appropriate attribution. Authors retain copyright of their work.

 

Open Access Policy

IRJEN  provides immediate open access to all published content, believing that unrestricted access to engineering research accelerates innovation, industrial development, and technological advancement.

 

Archiving and Indexing

All articles are digitally preserved through the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS preservation networks and hosted on the OJS/PKP platform for secure, long-term access. Articles are also archived in the Innovative Research Journals Publication Library, the institutional repository of Innovative Research Journals. Authors are encouraged to self-archive accepted manuscripts in institutional or subject-specific repositories consistent with the CC BY-NC license.

 

Indexed/Abstracted In

IRJEN  is indexed and abstracted in Google Scholar, Crossref, EuroPub, Index Copernicus, Directory of Research Journal Indexing (DRJI), Research Bible, and Advanced Sciences Index.
