Advertising Policy
Innovative Research in Applied, Biological and Chemical Sciences (IRABCS) maintains a clear separation between advertising, commercial activities, and editorial decision-making. Advertising or sponsorship must never compromise the journal's editorial independence, scientific integrity, peer-review process, or credibility.
Where advertising is accepted, IRABCS ensures that advertisements are managed independently of manuscript evaluation and editorial activities. Advertising arrangements are administrative or commercial matters and have no bearing on the acceptance, rejection, revision, publication, correction, or retraction of scholarly content.
Acceptance of Advertising
IRABCS may accept advertising when an advertisement is appropriate for the journal's academic and professional readership and does not create an unacceptable conflict of interest with the journal's editorial responsibilities.
Acceptance of an advertisement does not constitute endorsement by IRABCS, its publisher, Editor-in-Chief, editors, editorial board members, reviewers, or authors of the advertised product, service, organization, or claim.
The journal reserves the right to reject, modify, suspend, or remove an advertisement when it is misleading, inaccurate, inappropriate, scientifically unsupported, unethical, offensive, or inconsistent with applicable laws, professional standards, or journal policies.
Types and Content of Advertisements
Where advertising is accepted, IRABCS may consider advertisements relating to academic, scientific, educational, research, publishing, professional, technological, or other services relevant to its readership.
Advertisements must contain accurate and verifiable information and must not make deceptive, exaggerated, unsupported, or misleading claims. Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that their advertising content complies with applicable legal and professional requirements.
IRABCS may decline advertisements for products, services, or organizations when their inclusion could reasonably create a conflict of interest, damage reader confidence, or compromise the perceived independence of the journal.
Separation from Editorial Content
Advertising must be clearly distinguishable from editorial and scholarly content. Advertisements must not be presented in a manner that could cause readers to interpret them as peer-reviewed research, editorial recommendations, scientific conclusions, or official statements of IRABCS.
Advertisers must have no role in determining which manuscripts are submitted, reviewed, accepted, rejected, revised, published, corrected, or retracted. Advertising arrangements must not influence the content, timing, placement, or outcome of editorial decisions.
Editorial Independence
All editorial decisions are made independently of advertising and other commercial relationships.
The purchase, rejection, placement, continuation, suspension, or cancellation of advertising must have no influence on manuscript evaluation, reviewer selection, peer-review outcomes, editorial decisions, publication priority, or post-publication actions.
An advertiser's commercial relationship with IRABCS must not result in preferential treatment for manuscripts submitted by the advertiser, its employees, researchers, institutions, or affiliated organizations.
Management of Advertising
Advertising decisions are handled separately from the scientific and editorial evaluation of manuscripts. The publisher or designated administrative personnel may review proposed advertisements for compliance with this policy before publication or display.
Editors and reviewers must not be required or encouraged to accept, reject, modify, prioritize, or otherwise influence manuscripts because of advertising relationships.
If an advertisement creates a potential conflict with editorial independence or scientific integrity, IRABCS may decline the advertisement or discontinue its display.
Identification and Transparency
Advertising and sponsored material must be clearly identified and distinguishable from editorial content. The journal will maintain an appropriate separation between advertisements, sponsored material, journal announcements, editorial content, and peer-reviewed research.
Sponsored material must not be presented as independent editorial content or as a scientific endorsement by IRABCS. Where appropriate, the nature of the commercial or sponsorship relationship will be clearly identified.
Review and Removal of Advertisements
IRABCS reserves the right to review advertisements after publication or display if concerns arise regarding their accuracy, appropriateness, legality, or compatibility with journal policies.
An advertisement may be removed or discontinued if it is subsequently found to contain inaccurate or misleading information, create a significant conflict of interest, misrepresent the journal or publisher, violate applicable standards, or otherwise compromise the journal's ethical or professional standards.
Removal or discontinuation of an advertisement will not affect the independent editorial evaluation of manuscripts or published research associated with the advertiser.
