Forthcoming Issue/ Early View: Accepted articles are published online in their unedited original manuscript form within a few days of acceptance, subject to the authors’ completion of all required publication formalities, including confirmation of publication charges where applicable. The Early View version will be replaced by the final Version of Record once copyediting, typesetting, and author proof corrections are completed.

Copyediting and Proofs: All manuscripts accepted for publication in the IRABCS Journal undergo essential copyediting and proofreading to ensure clarity, consistency, and correctness in grammar, spelling, and style. Authors who wish to use professional language-editing services prior to submission may do so at their own discretion. Use of such services is neither required for publication nor does it guarantee acceptance or peer review.

Proof Review Process: The corresponding author will receive a secure email link to review the article proofs and must submit all corrections and responses to editorial queries within 48 hours to avoid publication delays; a provisional PDF will be provided for layout reference. Corrections to text and tables should be made directly in the proofing system, while figure changes are discouraged and should only be indicated by comments if necessary. Any changes beyond the correction of production errors may require editorial approval and could delay publication, and revised proofs are generally not resent before online release except in exceptional cases.

DOI (Digital Object Identifier): Each published article is assigned a unique DOI, which appears on the article title page. The DOI provides a permanent and reliable means of identifying and citing articles published online ahead of assignment to a specific volume or issue.

  • Manuscripts must establish strong connection with Life Sciences

Focus: Integrating applications of Applied and Chemical Sciences in Biological Sciences

Manuscript Types: Research Articles, Review Articles, Short Communications (Case Reports in Medical Fields) and Conference Proceedings. 

Article Publication Charges (APC): PKR 10,000 for National Authors or $100 for International Authors, applicable after acceptance of the article for publication (w.e.f July 2024). This APC maintain the journal's quality, supports the quality publishing services and free access for readers. The APC covers online tools for editors and authors, article production and hosting, liaison with abstracting and indexing services, and customer support.

Revenue Sources: APC, Donation, and Collaboration.
