To sustain open access publishing, support rigorous peer review, and maintain indexing and preservation infrastructure, Innovative Research in Applied, Biological, and Chemical Sciences (IRABCS) levies an Article Processing Charge (APC) solely upon final acceptance of a manuscript.

  • No Submission Charges: Authors pay nothing to submit a manuscript.
  • No Peer Review Fees: The peer review process is entirely free of charge.
  • No Page or Color Fees: No additional fees are charged for manuscript length, color figures, tables, or supplementary materials.
  • Rejected Articles: Manuscripts rejected during initial desk screening or peer review incur zero fees.

Low-Income Economies Corresponding authors based in countries classified by the World Bank / Research4Life (Group A). 100% Full Waiver
Lower-Middle-Income Economies Corresponding authors based in countries classified under Research4Life (Group B). 50% Partial Waiver
Demonstrable Financial Hardship Unfunded researchers, early-career scholars, or students presenting written evidence of lack of institutional grant support. Case-by-Case (25%–50%)

How to Request a Waiver

Authors seeking a waiver must submit an application at the time of initial manuscript submission by emailing [email protected] or [email protected], stating the manuscript title, institutional affiliation, and country of residence.

Editorial Independence Guarantee: Peer reviewers and handling editors are strictly blinded to waiver requests and authors' financial statuses. Waiver requests have absolutely no influence on the editorial evaluation or acceptance decisions.
